So I went down the stairs and I laced them again
And put my bootheel through the tv
Well it was lined with bitches to the left of the street
And the right side teemed with bastards
But all the gangsters took their hats off to show some respect
When they saw what I was after
Now the punk at the stand n’ lean hopped in the back
Before I walked up to the counter
So I rang myself up for some jerky and coke and took a quarter roll in each hand
Well the blues guitar shop was a block from the club
Up by the parking lot there on ninth street

Then my right hook took him off his feet
Well he never said something while I looked around
